Children‘s Programs
Children’s Calendar:
Pre-School Storytime & After-School Storytime,
Special Programs, and
Summer Reading Club Programs
Two OPACs or online public access catalog terminals are located in the Children’s Room to help you find materials in both the adult and children's collections. The catalog also includes the holdings of the Monterey Public Library. Shelves in the Children’s Room are labeled to help you find materials. Watch for special booklists and flyers on the shelves under the inside window. Please ask a staff member if you need assistance with the computer or in finding materials. We are all happy to help you!
Materials
We have picture books, beginning readers, fiction for 2nd to 7th grades, non-fiction, a reference collection, magazines, books-on-tape, and cassettes in the Children’s Room.
